AMMITEC (Association of Maritime Managers of Information Technology and Communications): AMMITEC (www.ammitec.org)
is a non-profit professional body bringing together the ICT
Managers and other ICT Professionals of Shipping companies,
aiming to promote the correct use of ICT within the Shipping
companies. Dr. Nomikos has been one of its main organizers
and founders. Through the Association the Company has established
excellent working contacts with the ICT Departments of most
of the major Shipping Companies in Greece.
Stelmar Tankers (Management) Ltd:
Stelmar Tankers (www.stelmar.com) is a fast growing shipping company first established by Stelios Hadjioannou, the entrepreneur who also created EasyJet and the EasyGroup of companies in the UK . Stelmar Tankers recently expanded its fleet to a total of 40 tankers, whereas it has been listed in the New York Stock Exchange. At Stelmar Tankers Dr. Nomikos was initially the I.T. Manager of the company when it was first established, and more recently P. Nomikos & Associates undertook to manage a complex project related to the implementation of a maritime ERP package, and the upgrade of the company IT and Communications infrastructure. Dr. Nomikos had also been advising Stelmar Tankers on all matters related to Information Technology.
Wallem Group Ltd:
Wallem (www.wallem.com) is the second largest shipmanagement company in number of managed vessels world-wide, based in Hong Kong . P. Nomikos & Associates has consulted on a project related to the implementation of web-based methods for maritime procurement and for virtual vessel inspections.
Teo Shipping Corp:
Teo Shipping is a modern operator of bulk carriers based in Athens. For Teo P. Nomikos & Associates has provided outsourced IT support resources.
NewsLink Services Ltd:
NewsLink (www.newslinkservices.com) is a global daily newspaper service to crews onboard over 3,000 vessels through electronic mail. NewsLink also offers extensive training software tools in English proficiency and safety awareness for seafarers. P. Nomikos & Associates has been the representative in the Greek market for NewsLink.

Franman (www.franman.gr) is a well-known company based in Greece providing products and services in the shipbuilding, shiprepair and maritime IT sectors. Franman is active in Greece and in the Far East . P. Nomikos & Associates has formed a strategic partnership with Franman related to the implementation of modern technologies in the maritime sector.
EMS Technologies Inc. (www.ems-t.com)
is a leading innovator in the design and manufacture of wireless and satellite solutions based in Atlanta , USA , employing about 2,000 people world-wide. When it's Satcom Division launched the EMS Fleet 55 terminal for the global shipping markets, P. Nomikos & Associates undertook to identify a suitable distributor for the Greek and Cypriot shipping markets and to assist with the planned sea-trials of the new product.

The online maritime Chartering service Netshipbrokers.com (www.netshipbrokers.com) was established in 1997 by P. Nomikos & Associates and is being operated by it. Netshipbrokers.com pioneered the concept of online Chartering and today operates the largest and most experienced service in the Internet. The service has over 6,000 Members who are maritime professionals from 100 countries world-wide. It is one of the very few dot.com companies still growing after several years in business.
Broadband Maritime Inc: Broadband Maritime (www.broadbandmaritime.com) is a US-based company that provides broadband connectivity to vessels. For Broadband Maritime P. Nomikos & Associates has performed a market research project related to the availability of television channels onboard vessels.

Vector Informatics (www.vector.gr) has developed a pioneering maritime ERP system. At Vector P. Nomikos & Associates has performed a market research project.
Hewlett Packard:
(www.hp.com) P. Nomikos & Associates has assisted the Greek branch of Hewlett-Packard to develop a promotional strategy for HP products and services tailored to the maritime market.
For the Greek practice of Deloitte-Touche (www.deloitte.com) P.Nomikos & Associates has worked on a project related to the implementation of Internet technologies for the OPAP public sector organization that handles state-sponsored lotteries.
Innovative Ventures S.A. (iVen): iVen (www.iven.gr) is a business incubator established by two major Greek Venture Capital Funds, NBGVC (a subsidiary of the National Bank of Greece , the largest Greek financial group) and Vectis Capital (which manages funds from the Leventis and Martinos Groups of Companies, and from Alpha Bank, the second largest bank in Greece ). iVen was established to provide seed capital and business facilities and support to innovative new companies related to Technology and the Internet. Nomikos & Associates has had extensive cooperation with Digital Ship, where Dr. Nomikos has contributed numerous articles and reports. Dr. Nomikos has also produced and moderated several conferences world-wide with Digital Ship and with Ammitec.
